Valentines cards

Two of my Valentine cards...

Tri-fold or Shutter Card

I made the flower using my Big Shot. First I cut out the flower, then I got the paper wet, and crumpled up the flower, then unfold. let it dry, then glued it all together. the center is a glitter dot. I added a little glitter on the tips of the flower.

Card #1
Supplies:
  • One 5 1/2" x 12" piece of Cardstock
  • Scor-Pal... (I just use the paper cutter and scor my paper with the bone folder)
  • Paper Cutter
  • Patterned Paper
  • Bone Folder
  • Craft Knife

Place 5 ½” x 12" piece of cardstock horizontally in your Scor-Pal.

Score at 2”, 4”, 8” and 10”.

Make a slit with a craft knife 1 ½” form the top and bottom,  between the score marks at 2” and 10”. (I use my paper cutter to cut).
Fold card.
 Cut 4 pieces of patterned paper 1 3/8” x 1 3/8”.
Cut 2 pieces of patterned paper 1 3/8” x 3 7/8”.
Cut 1 piece of patterned paper 2 3/8” x 3 7/8”.
Dry fit all of the pieces, then
adhere to card base.
Embellish & decorate.

 I hope I didn't leave anything out.

 Simple, but I think it's cute.


 The birds were colored with, Twinkling H2O's and the little hearts are just ribbon.
